Visiting Dad at Work

On the nicest day of the year (so far), Dad wanted us to come visit him at his new station, #25.

The lion is Station 25's logo.  My high school mascot was also the lion (West Linn lions).

This is where Matt sleeps.  We sat on the bed and could have fallen right to sleep ~ very comfy!!  I was just told that he moved rooms the next shift... but they all look the same.

Happy Easter

Nice mowed lawn (thank you) and the girls searching for peanuts...

Our neighbor lady thinks it is nice to feed the birds and squirrel whole peanuts.  What she doesn't know is that the birds (blue birds) come and 'hide' them in the lawn, flowers and under bushes.  Peppe especially searches for them non-stop.  She's gotten pretty good at finding them too.  The birds must get so frustrated that their stash is always gone!

Cousins

We celebrated Hayden's 9th birthday at Papa and Grammy's on Sunday and the kids got to hold Kennedy for the first time.  They couldn't believe how soft her hair was.

Hanna kept saying, "She likes me."  

I love her in her polo and little jeans!  We were taking a family trip out to good ol' Colton.

Two Month Check-up

Kennedy's stats as of 4/7/11:

Weight: 8 lb 6 oz (YEAHHHHHH) ~ 5th percentile

Height: 21 1/4 in ~ 25th percentile

Head Circ: 14.5 in

This is the first time she is even on the curve, so we are very excited!!  Hard to believe she is now the size of a full term baby.  She got three shots yesterday and did awesome.  I think it was harder on me then her.  Thank goodness dad was there to hold her hands (I couldn't watch).

These two have got to be some of the sweetest kids I know.  I love them more than they could ever imagine.  I just want to eat them up...

They are growing up way too fast.  Avery just turned 5 and Hayden is turning 9.  Time to slow down guys!

Dinner

I made dinner last night and actually enjoyed it.  On the menu was Easy Beef Enchiladas (but used ground turkey instead of beef).  I think Matt was surprised too that he liked them.  Yeah!

Two Months

Kennedy is a big 2 months today!!

She was not in the mood to take pictures, but we did our best!

She has her two month check-up on Thursday, so we'll check back later with her stats.  We sure do love this tiny bundle of joy!

Our First Walk

FINALLY we got some decent weather so we could go on our first family walk outside!

The girls were SO excited!!!

We even saw a snail on our walk!  I'm so used to seeing nasty slugs.  For some reason, snails aren't as gross to me as slugs.
