Frog Lake and Alpine Slides

(8/8/2011) My mom was so nice and took all of us kids and grand kids up to Mt. Hood.  We had a picnic lunch at Frog Lake, which was gorgeous and the weather was perfect!

Walunas Cousins Are Here

(August 2011) Yay!!!  We could not be more excited to have Uncle Erik, Aunt Sylvia (Sylva),and cousins Avery, Ella and Ethan here to play for a couple weeks!  They live way too far away in Rhode Island.  This is the first time they get to meet Kennedy and us meet Ethan, so it was a special trip!  Ethan is 10 weeks older than Kennedy, and as you can see at least double her size.  He has the sweetest temperament and you can't help but just want to kiss his adorable face!!  They girls loved baby Kennedy and enjoyed making her smile.  They couldn't get over how bald Kennedy was.

6 Months

(8/3/2011)  No way, 6 months already!  Both Matt and I had to work today, so Grammy got to babysit.  With the help of Mandy and Hanna, they got some great pictures of BK.

She wasn't quite sure about the water.  She wasn't scared, but didn't love it.  It may have something to do with she only has been in her little infant tub (since we don't have a tub in our house), and doesn't really know what fun the water can be.

Kennedy Beginning to Roll Over and Eat Solids

(July 23, 2011) So Kennedy has begun to show signs of wanting to roll over.  We started to put objects to the side of her just out of reach so she'll lean a little more.

This is as far as she gets right now.

Hanging outside with Mom and Dad while we work in the garage and in the yard. (New front yard pictures to come).

The day has come!  July 27th, 2011.  She has no idea what's she about to experience!!  SOLID FOOD!!!  Her poor little sensitive mouth!  By the way, that cupcake on the tray is her most favorite toy.  It's a stacking cupcake and it crinkles!  She loooooves it!  It was the first toy she actually has paid attention to and played with.

I accidentally bought Oatmeal instead of Rice cereal.  After this attempt, we fed her Rice cereal.

Daddy wanted to be the one to try the first feeding.  Kennedy was more interested in eating this new thing called a vinyl bib around her neck!

Um, no!!  She did not like it, at all!

Matt finally had to hold down the bib because she wouldn't stop trying to eat it.

And this is how it ended!!!

5 Months and Kennedy's First 4th of July

My sincere apologies for neglecting this blog for SO long!!  The days just get away from me.  Here, sweet Kennedy is 5 months old!  Where has the time gone???  

Just relaxing wishing the photo-shoot was over!

Her first 4th of July!!  She's not very happy in this picture, but soon cheered up for the General Canby Days parade.  Our friends Jen and AJ Howard were kind enough to host a great BBQ and the parade goes right in front of their house.  Unfortunately Matt had to work, so he missed out on all the fun!

Trying to get a good shot for Matt -not successful!  It's not easy when you don't have another pair of hands to help.  Cute thought though, huh??
